Console is opening, but I can’t type

Game console fonts not package into a build for some reason, but it can be fixed easily.

Open your project Edit > Project Settings > Engine > General Settings

Set all empty font fields Tinny Font, Small Font, Medium Font, Large Font to Roboto font for example.

Console doesn’t have auto-completion

The auto-completion functionality removed from Unreal Engine 5 Shipping builds. I am working on finding a solution to bring this feature back.

Not all console commands are available in Shipping builds
