Visual debugging

Use the following game console commands for occlusion debug visualization:

  • AudioOcclusion.Debug 1 Displays occlusion values and selected occlusion definitions.
  • AudioOcclusion.Debug 2 Displays occlusion values, selected occlusion definitions, and trace lines for ray-tracing.
    Debug
    AudioOcclusion.Debug 2

Performance

Use game console command Stat AudioOcclusion for performance analysis

  • Subsystem Tick (Game Thread): Total time spent processing on the game thread.
  • Subsystem Update (Audio Thread): Total time spent processing on the audio thread.
  • Occlusion Requests: Number of sound sources requesting occlusion values.
  • Evaluation Executions: Number of evaluator executions performed.
  • Trace Count: Total number of ray traces performed by evaluators.
